Response to Coronavirus (Covid-19)

As the news and media are filled with stories about Coronavirus, Principal would like to provide the following update in relation to our operations and the robust plans that have been put in place to alleviate any impact the virus may have.

The situation around Coronavirus will be monitored closely and Principal will follow all advice issued by Public Health England and the UK Government.

This is being cascaded to our employees along with advice and guidance on how to reduce the chances of the virus spreading.

We are focused on ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers whilst doing our utmost to keep staff and customers safe.

Principal have made investments into business continuity planning to ensure that all systems and services can be operated remotely should the outbreak start to impact operations.

Should staff be advised to self-isolate or are coping with school closures for example, remote working will help Principal deliver the same seamless service to our customers that we pride ourselves on.

In relation to meetings, internal meetings have been limited to those of an urgent nature, whilst all non-essential external meetings have been postponed for a period of 6 weeks. Resources such as Skype and Microsoft Teams will be used during this time.

We are also working closely with supply chain partners to identify any potential impact on production capacity and in turn acting to minimise any impact on our ability to supply and service customers.
